The Centre reads the Arab Gulf and the Horn of Africa as a single geopolitical space that meets at the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandab, producing independent, rigorous analysis in the service of stability, development and integration across both shores.

Migration & displacement
Migration and labour movement between the Horn and the Gulf, displacement routes, and the effects of conflict on communities.

Conferences and roundtables bringing together researchers and decision-makers from both shores, and programmes for early-career researchers.
